US calls Russia's Parsec key supplier to North Korean missiles
WASHINGTON, Jan 13 (PRIME) – Russian company Parsec, which is under the U.S. sanctions, is one of the key sources of goods and technologies for the North Korean missile program, U.S. State Secretary Antony Blinken said on Thursday.
He said that North Korean citizen Oh Yeon Ho in 2016-2021 collaborated with Parsec on the procurement of Kevlar thread, aramid fiber, aviation fuel, bearings and high-precision milling machines.
“The relationship between Oh Yeon Ho, Roman Anatolyevich Alar and Parsek LLC is a key source of goods and technology … for the DPRK’s missile program,” Blinken said in a statement on the State Department website, referring to Parsec’s Development Director.
The blacklist also includes five North Koreans residing in Russia and China.
